After leaving school, Greg put himself through a 4 year course and achieved his City & Guilds in plumbing.
His first job was with the Gas Board and the following 3 years he served as an apprentice studying his Advanced Plumbing, Technical Plumbing and Gas until he became a fully qualified Gas Engineer.
He stayed with the Gas Board for the next 8 years.
Sonny is following in his fathers footsteps and has been working and learning on the job since he left school.
After 7 years of training and learning the trade, He has now moved on from the family business to further his knowledge before returning to take over the company in a few years and we wish him all the luck in the world!

Greg Johnson after many years of working for various companies, learning and building up his experience, Greg took the plunge and decided to start up on his own.
This was back in 1998.
Starting the business proved to be the right choice and gradually Greg built up a list of loyal customers.
Being a single parent bringing up 2 young children it was important to him to make sure he kept his working hours to suit the families needs but enough to make a comfortable wage to support him and his children.

Beyond brilliant. We had a major plumbing emergency. Our usual plumber did not want the job. Johnson’s stepped up. The ladies in the office were amazing; so understanding and keen to help. They despatched Des who attended promptly and did the most fantastic job with great respect for our property. He explained everything that was needed and offered tips to ensure our heating gave good service for the future. Everything was done for a reasonable price and all left tidy. Very highly recommended.

Change of use from bathroom to a shower room. Greg was extremely helpful in advising us on how to maximise the small space to gain the best outcome. He put forward suggestions on the shower room furniture which really helped us make the right choices. The team of Greg, Danny (plasterer) Tim (tiler), Des (plumber), John (plumber) were punctual, polite, friendly, respectful of our property, tidied up after finishing each day. Greg communicated really well as the job progressed and not forgetting Tess who was always available to help with any queries. Great job and thank you all!

Replacement cloakroom toilet pan and kitchen mixer tap installed at fairly short notice. I pre-ordered identical replacements for these items in order to avoid anything disruptive causing extra work. All done professionally and efficiently by John to our saticfaction. Have already recommended to others and would certainly use again.

Thank you so much Greg and John! My kitchen mixer tap split on the spout and after finding Johnson’s on here I sent over a message detailing the issue and received a quick response from Greg, outlining price and availability. Once we confirmed a date and time I was informed who would be completing the work. John was punctual and friendly, completed the job to a very high standard and didn’t even mind when my toddler wanted to see what was going on and look in his toolbox :) Thank you guys so much
