A condensing boiler has a larger heat exchanger, so it recovers more heat, sends cooler gases up the flue and is more efficient.
Most old gas and oil boilers are regular boilers that have a separate hot water cylinder to store hot water, rather than providing it directly from the boiler.

What documentation can I expect from a gas engineer when they have carried out work in my home?The only documentation required by law is a Landlord Gas Safety Record as there is a legal duty on owners of residential rented properties to have annual safety checks carried out on the gas appliances they provide for their tenants' use.
These safety checks must be carried out by a suitably qualified and registered engineer and the results are recorded in detail on a Landlord, Gas Safety Record form with copies provided to the landlord and tenant.

Jason at 365 has been exceptional with the work of replacing my boiler and hot water tank to a combi boiler. I was recommended Jason by a client of mine. His experience has enabled him to work more efficiently which means less disruption in my house (as I have a home office). Jason has also done my annual boiler services to ensure my warranty is still valid on my boiler.
I have had a few technical issues with my remote thermostat and Jason was at the end of the phone helping me sort this. I'm not a techy person and it got my hot water running again. The only downside is sometimes Jason can take time to respond as he is busy with customers or family, however when he does get in touch his services is certainly 5/5. Thank you

Needed work on my renovation property and these guys were recommended. They were very friendly and professional - installed a new central heating system with flexible piping behind the plastering so no pipes showing; also sourced me brand new radiators at a decent price and installed the combi boiler. Very responsive, efficient and completed the work on-schedule. Overall very happy; already planning to have the guys back to install my new bathroom suite.

After finding 365 Plumbing & Heating locally on the Web, an engineer called round at a convenient time in the evening to give us a quote. The advice on our new boiler was second to none - after having several other plumbers quote. Jason made simple sense of our choices and offered us some excellent warranties. He didn't just focus on price and "winning the job" which we greatly appreciated.
In the end their professionalism and confidence swayed us towards 365, even tho they were slightly more expensive, the attention to detail was incredible even to the point of plaster patching where the old boiler had been.
