In the early 1950's my grandfather Sidney Witchall established a hardware shop at Curtis Street in Swindon. The shop sold bathrooms, central heating systems, kitchens and products like paint, timber, glass and ironwork. With the help of my father Alan and his brother Chris the business grew to become a well known name in Swindon for excellent products and service at affordable prices.
