In a typical house in the UK, it is likely that you have one of two possible heating system style; the conventional heating system or the combi boiler heating system.
The Conventional heating system needs to have 2 water tanks (one cold water storage, and the other an expansion/ feed tank) both located high up.
A hot water cylinder is also required.
The storage cylinder holds a large amount of hot water that is available to use almost immediately, however when the store has been used up it needs to be reheated which could take up to an hour.
