Water was traced to an under floor split pipe joint on the bath to soil pipe connection.
It was found necessary to take up the upstairs landing carpet and cut out the floor boards to gain entry to where the leak was.
All expertly done and a new pipe installed, although it was very difficult to reach and work on.
Everything put back together following the repair and testing, good as before.
Even the carpet was re-laid in a very professional manner and I was surprised when a vacuum cleaner was carried in and the carpet given the once over.
