My father was a heating engineer and I followed his footsteps 40 years ago.
Becoming a heating design engineer, the usual route of 5-year apprenticeship was not enough for me and I studied for another 4 years at Bath College gaining City and Guilds with distinction and chartered institute of building services qualifications.
Learning continues today and all our plumbing and heating engineers attend specialist training regularly.
