I'm Andrew Mugleston, the owner of Mugleston's Plumbing & Heating. I am a City & Guilds Level 3 Qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer with over 16 years' experience in the industry. In my career so far, I have gained experience in a wide range of plumbing & heating installations, including designing and specifying high-end bathrooms and large, complex heating systems with high-efficiency control strategies.

I offer a full boiler service, which is tailored to each individual boiler.
This usually follows the manufacturer's instructions where available, although where experience has shown that boiler manufacturer's instructions are insufficient for thorough and complete maintenance, additional work will be carried out, normally within the cost of my standard service charge.
At the very least, casings are removed, components inspected visually (and, where possible, functionally) for signs of wear or leakage, minor leaks requiring standard replacement washers repaired, electrodes checked and adjusted as required, burners inspected and cleaned, and performance checked.

I can supply & fit the full range of energy-saving smart controls and connected thermostats, from single-zone and dual-zone thermostats on combi boilers and traditional systems, through to fully automated and zoned control systems such as Honeywell EvoHome and Genius Home.

Hourly rate is 50 + VAT per hour, charged in blocks of 15 minutes.
75.00 + VAT ( 90 inc VAT) diagnosis fee, in addition to my Labour charges as detailed above, which is refunded if you employ me to either carry out the repairs required, or replace the appliance (supply & fit).
NO FIX, NO FEE - If I supply & fit a part which does not fix your appliance, I will not charge my diagnosis fee, nor for the part or the labour to fit it.
