Services
Your Gas Boiler and Central Heating System, just like your car, need a little TLC from time to time to ensure they're running as they should be.
And, just like your car's MOT, the primary reasons for this are efficency and safety.
Deposits build up inside the boiler and central heating system which reduce the efficency of the system.
An annual service will make sure the boiler is running as it should be.
Regular servicing also greatly reduces the risk of a breakdown and prolongs the life of the boiler.

If you are experiencing problems with your central heating system or you suspect you need a boiler repair I am here to help.
I can offer fixed priced repairs to your gas appliance or central heating system which include both minor repairs as well as supply and fitting of replacement parts, where needed.
Combination Boilers: Is the water pressure adequate?
Check the pressure gauge on the front panel or underneath the front panel shows 1.0-1.5 bar.
If not, turn off the boiler - locate the filling loop tap and top-up to required pressure.

For most people getting a new boiler can be an expensive purchase, we would never recommend a new boiler if it wasn't required but what we do say is if your current one is older than 10 years, it may be time to start thinking about having it replaced.
While the cost might be daunting, boilers account for around 60% of what you spend in a year on energy bills, so getting an efficient boiler can make a big difference and save you lots of money on your heating bills.
We only fit good quality A-grade high-efficiency boilers carrying the Energy Saving Recommended logo.

It is a legal requirement for landlords to have all the gas appliances in a rented property safety-tested every 12 months by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
As a landlord, you are responsible for the safety of your tenants.
The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 deal with landlords' duties to make sure gas appliances, fittings and flues provided for tenants are safe.
You are also responsible for ensuring an annual gas safety check is carried out within 12 months of the installation of a new appliance or flue which you provide and annually thereafter by a Gas Safe Registered engineer.
