The Worshipful Company of Plumbers aims to support and make a difference within the ancient industry of plumbing. We assist and support charities and trainees, partner our industry through affiliations and work closely with the Lord Mayor and the City of London. At the same ceremony, Air Cdre Paul Nash will be installed as Upper Warden and David Adams as Renter Warden.
They all look forward to the honour of serving our ancient Company. Now with special guests Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall. Past Master Chris Sneath has received the St Michael Medallion, the Worshipful Company of Plumbers' highest award in recognition of his outstanding service to the plumbing and heating industry. After 18 months we were at last able to enjoy each others' company again on a balmy late summers' evening at Salters' Hall.
After refreshments at 1700hr, the lecture will be given at 1800hr and followed by a drinks reception and dinner. Full details can be found in the lecture flyer. Through fundraising and by direct activity, we help charities and not-for-profits in the UK and around the world ensure a better future for both individuals and their communities.

Services
We are one of the oldest Companies in the City of London but still actively supporting the craft, the City and those less fortunate.
Number 31 in the order of precedence for Livery Companies, we were granted our Ordinances in 1365.
The Aims and Objectives of the Company were revised in 2010 and reflect our dynamic approach to the present and the future yet at the same time remembering our past heritage.
The Court of Assistants is drawn from within the Livery and reflects in its membership those disciplines which are needed for the Court to advise and help the Officers of the Company to run its affairs.

The Worshipful Company of Plumbers is one of the most ancient of the Livery Companies of the City of London.
The origins of the Fellowship of Plumbers are uncertain, but as early as 1365 the Fellowship was in a sufficiently strong position to prepare Ordinances which were presented to the Aldermen for their approval.
The Ordinances indicated that it was the desire of the craftsmen that their work should be well done.
The First Article provided that the plumber should submit himself to examination by the best and most skilful men in the trade in order that he might be certified so that "the trade might not be scandalised, or the commonalty damaged and deceived by folk who do not know their trade".

The Worshipful Company of Plumbers is proud to be among the ancient Livery Companies in the City of London.
Our initial Ordinances were granted by the Lord Mayor and the Aldermen in 1365 and ever since then we have strived to support the City of London and the Mayoralty.
We take part in the Lord Mayor's show and in some years provide a float illustrating some aspect of plumbing.
We also involve schoolchildren in the decoration of the float and have received tremendous support from the children at the Columbia Primary School in Tower Hamlets.

We can only continue to support the various organisations doing such great work, with the help of our Liverymen and Corporate Members.
This is the Plumbers' charity and donating money is an ideal way to support the craft and what it represents.
Through fundraising and by direct activity, we help charities and not-for-profits in the UK and around the world ensure a better future for both individuals and their communities.
The City Liveries together raise over 50M a year and make a significant difference to the lives of millions.
