This project involved the refurbishment of the customer's main bathroom and en suite.
In the main bathroom a large stone resin tray was fitted (1400mm by 800mm) on a raised platform to allow for the waste system. Our brief from the customer was to modernise a dated coloured bathroom into a shower room. Mick Barden and his wife, Carole, formed the company in 1983 with the trading name "Mecar Heating and Plumbing", "Me" meaning Mick and "Car" for Carole.
Mick's son, Tristam joined the company in 1994 after leaving school. After completing his NVQ levels two and three, it was decided to make Tristam a partner in the company and so the name was changed to "M.B.Barden & Son". Being based just outside of Ashford (Kent), we mainly carry out work in the Kent area but do carry out work in Sussex and occasionally London.
